Flash Code contains a list of common code combinations that are billed together. These consist of Diagnosis and Treatment coding pairs such as appendicitis and appendectomy.

Accessing LINKS is simple:
• Find a code (either diagnosis or treatment)
• Click the Link button (located to the left of the code number)

      -If the button is active, the links will display automatically

      -If the button is inactive, you can choose to make your own links

Flash Code links are always present. (you cannot delete them)

Links you add can be deleted.

Creating LINKS is simple:
• Find the code you want to make links for (either diagnosis or treatment)
• Click the Link button (located to the left of the code number)

      -If the button is active, current links will display automatically

      -If the button is inactive, you can choose to make your own links

Click the [NEW LINK] button to enter the screen that allows you to make new links.

Follow the instructions that are listed on the page.

Don't worry if you make a mistake - you can delete any of the links that you create.
