As you might know already, the House and Senate voted to override President Bush's veto of the Medicare Bill that reversed the 10%+ cut to payments made under the RBRVS system. The bill that has taken effect eliminates the cuts that would have been in effect from July 1st through December 31st, 2008 and restores the 0.5% increase that was implemented last January.

The updated RBRVS files that reflect these changes and fix several errors in the data became available at the CMS website yesterday...and today we have all of the information loaded into our desktop product.

Those of you who have already received the Flash Code 2008 Q3 shipment on CD-ROM will want to download the Macintosh or Windows installer by clicking our DOWNLOADS link and selecting the appropriate OS platform you are using.

The installer will overwrite the previous Q3 version of Flash Code with the updated RBRVS files. You will know you have the correct version when you see the name Flash Code 2008Q3v2 listed when the program launches.
